Where Superior really shines is with higher quality samples and more degrees of articulation that engineers/producers can use to bypass recording a drummer on a full mix. EZDRUMMER MIDI REALLY LOUD UPGRADEI've yet to upgrade to Superior - but it really does sound like you are in the learning curve phase (as am I). And you can get some cheaper or larger ones from Groove Monkee, Platinum Samples, and other sources. I do not think you need to buy every groove pack under the sun if you go down that route. Then as others have said, pull your groove into the DAW and edit from there if needed. When using Tap2Find you really should focus on the kick or snare, quantize it to 1/4, 1/8 or 1/16 and then you pull the groove up into the kit window where you can change the power hand, increase/decrease number of hits and intensity and get something close to what you want. There's a ton out there and they will go over a lot of the how tos on how you go from tap to find into the GUI editor (not the midi editor) to drill down a groove that works for you. Google or youtube search videos on EZ Drummer and quick songwriting. Someone with experience in both programs please give me some perspective here, thanks! But it seems like the SD comes with this huge catalog of sounds compared to EZ drummer I really don't want to throw more money in expansion sets and grooves etc, unless they really do help. Can I input a single track with all snare, bass drum, and hi-hats all mixed in one track and the Tracker can decipher that? I also find the Tracker function interesting. How about the stock drum midi groove library with the base SD set? is it exactly the same as the base EZ drummer and I need to purchase more packs to increase the available midi grooves? Can someone tell me if I am able to edit midi with SD? I mean edit these MIDI grooves down to each and every single drum hit? is that was the Grid Edit feature is? So I did a bit of a search here and I am finding that maybe I shoulda picked up Superior Drummer instead. I sent that into the "Song Creator" and the suggested verses, chorus, fills, etc are just not right to me. So I figured that I would just manually tap in the drum beat that I wanted and I got that good for 8 bars. So I figured, okay fine, there was a midi groove that was decent, but there was one blip on the midi file that I wanted to edit, it was a simple hi-hat open and close during the groove that I wanted to edit and take away, but it seems like I can't even edit the midi files. I quickly found that the base EZ Drummer set library was actually quite limiting, and if I wanted to get more MIDI grooves and different drum sounds that I had to buy more expansion and midi sets! JEEZ. Even worse was when I dragged in that MIDI file into the "Song Creator" and it came up with even more Midi grooves that I didn't feel inspiring. Well I tried it and I was able to tap in the basic snare/bass combo beat that I wanted to program, but I found the search results somewhat limiting. The "Tap 2 Find" feature sounded awesome to me. I picked up EZ Drummer cause it was touted as a great, easy to use drum program for the guitarist in mind. ![]() Granted I haven't really spend enough time with it, but I wanted your opinion: EZDRUMMER MIDI REALLY LOUD FULL VERSIONSo I recently bought EZ Drummer 2, the full version without even trying the demo version of it and I've instantly found some issues with it that I find somewhat limiting. EZDRUMMER MIDI REALLY LOUD PASSWORDWe have opened a discussion thread in the Pub section discussing this. We will include a very detailed password checklist. We want to highly recommend that members turn on and use TGP's two-factor authentication option. We highly recommend every member reading this change their passwords as a precaution. We have forced email revalidation for all members that have not signed on for a while. None of the accounts compromised were using two-factor authentication. Talking to one member as I am working through getting his account back in order, he informed me that his Apple password manager had been compromised and made available on the dark web. In today's world, that is false confidence you can no longer afford.Įvery account that I've restored so far to the original owner was using compromised passwords. It is heartbreaking to see that the lure of saving some money will still fool people into using those methods to save a few dollars. Unfortunately, we cannot control how members do deals. ![]() However, the best way to prevent this is for members to exercise proper password hygiene (which I'll detail below), turn on two-factor authentication, and - I implore every single person here - only use payment methods that have buyer protection. We've made security changes that I don't want to detail here to stop them. They have scammed members in the Emporiums by creating ads with stolen photos and requesting Paypal F&F or Venmo exclusively for payment. Some fraudsters have compromised TGP accounts have in the past few days.
